Brachial Artery:

Brachial Artery:

The brachial artery is a major artery that supplies blood to the arm. It is a continuation of the axillary artery and is located in the anterior compartment of the muscular components. It begins at the teres major muscle and ends at the elbow joint. Here, it bifurcates into two other arteries called the ulnar and radial artery. This artery is only covered by layers of skin and so the pulse of this artery is palpable. The brachial artery is used for the measurement of blood pressure with the help of a stethoscope.
