Bacteriology:

Bacteriology is a subdivision of microbiology that deals with the study of bacteria. Bacteriology is the study, identification, and classification of all the known species of bacteria. It studies the morphology, genetics, biochemistry, and ecology of bacteria along with their characterization. Bacteria are single celled organisms that are causes of diseases for humans. They multiply at rapid pace under ideal conditions. They are parasitic and feed on host living organisms such as humans. They also have a tendency to mutate and adapt to changing environments. Since they are responsible for major diseases like tuberculosis, pneumonia, typhoid and many others, the study of bacteriology is very important for us to find effective cures and treatments for diseases caused due to these bacteria.
