Aerobic exercise is an exercise that can be of low intensity or high intensity. It basically means using oxygen adequately to meet the demands of energy during an exercise activity. It is another name of cardiovascular (cardio) exercise. This mode of exercise includes moderate to long distance running, jogging, swimming, walking and cycling. This when done in combination with weight lifting and strength training is known to reduce the risk of many diseases and improve general wellbeing.
